K1_ARt ist eine virtuelle Galerie für Augmented-Reality-Kunst im öffentlichen Raum, initiiert vom Kulturverein Kultur 1 (Wien). Seit 2024 entstehen ortsspezifische AR-Installationen in Wien und Sarajevo, zugänglich über die kostenlose K1_ARt App.

K1_ARt is a virtual gallery for augmented reality art in public space, initiated by Kulturverein Kultur1 (Vienna). Since 2024, site-specific AR installations have been created in Vienna and Sarajevo, accessible via the free K1_ARt App.

Vier Editionen, 30 AR-Artworks, 14 Künstler:innen. Jede Edition entwickelt ein eigenes kuratorisches Konzept: von der 425-jährigen Geschichte des Donaukanals über posthumane Ästhetik und die transkulturelle Brücke Wien–Sarajevo bis zu den mikroprozessualen Intelligenzen der Klima Biennale Wien 2026.

Four editions, 30 AR artworks, 14 artists. Each edition develops its own curatorial concept: from the 425-year history of the Donaukanal through posthuman aesthetics and the transcultural bridge Vienna–Sarajevo to the microprocessual intelligences of Klima Biennale Wien 2026.

Kultur 1 ist ein transdisziplinärer Verein mit Sitz im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk, der an der Schnittstelle von Kunst, Theorie und Vermittlung agiert. Im Zentrum steht das Zusammenspiel von digitalen und analogen Ausdrucksformen, von lokaler Verankerung, internationaler Kooperation und urbaner Resonanz.

Kultur1 is a transdisciplinary association based in Vienna's 1st district, operating at the intersection of art, theory and cultural engagement. At its core is the interplay of digital and analog forms of expression, of local rootedness, international cooperation and urban resonance.
